“ ugh, I hate goodbyes. I really do, especially when it's not over the ambiance or staff performance or some other misstep. Henry's is the imperfect, rabble-rousing jewel of midtown with a patio unmatched in flawless, noisy-crazy. so it's with a heavy heart we must say "farewell" to this treasured joint, definitely too soon. I know reviews are supposed to be about food, service and atmosphere so I'll oblige that: servers are sassy and usually great, lashing us with zingers and shade each time we went. I was hoppin' mad when they took the asian chicken salad of the menu. they are *so* welcoming of dogs and kids you'd think they were given, not chosen, aunts and uncles. we as a city have to be mindful of how we operate as both tenants and landlords. based on available reporting, it appears Henry's rent couldn't be agreed upon, which is a Midtown soap opera we've seen play out one too many times. just stop it. it does no good to anyone to have that useless fight (for a couple extra shekels? come on) and just nuke a favorite watering hole off the map. just like we can't and shouldn't tear down historic buildings in ATL, we can't give in to the urge for the shiny, new, flashy things that you may see in your wild imagination. we have (had) something good now. think about that before the next rent negotiations. ”
“ Had a great time at Henry's. I ordered the wings, which come by the pound and Brussels sprouts. Wings were cooked well and delicious. Brussels were very buttery, but good. I was impressed at how big the fro mosa was! And there was a good amount of champagne in there too. ”
“ This was my first time at the restaurant because they hosted us after my uncle passed. One of my uncle's clients (Meredith) set everything up. They were kind enough to have appetizers on the house for us. Our server was kind and did the best he could for such a large party who was ordering food and drinks. They could have gotten him another person. Either way he was still kind and attentive. The food and drinks were pretty good. I wish we were there under better circumstances. ”
“ We had a wonderful meal at Henry's- late night for us. They close at 11 and we got there about 10:30. As others have said, they have a wonderful enormous patio that wraps around the restaurant and is very spacious. We had the humus appetizer and for entree we had the kale salmon salad, veggie tacos, and mushroom burger with fries. We ate everything except for some of the fries. The crowd was fairly rowdy but it didn't impact us and we could still easily have conversations without raising our voices. One weird thing- there are two cocktails on the menu with the same name - "Cucumber Mint". They brought me the wrong one and were super gracious about it! Our waiter Alfonso was awesome!! ”
“ Had a nice lunch here on a Monday afternoon before heading home from Atlanta. I'm so glad I found this place on my last day, as if I'm ever back in the city this will be one of the first places I go. The wings here were so good-- our friendly waiter recommended the hot honey wings and they were delicious. I wasn't even too hungry but I could have ordered another basket. We also got the BBQ pork sandwich with fries. The bbq was perfectly tangy and surprisingly not messy. The food came pretty quickly and they were very attentive to refilling waters and asking if we needed anything else. I wish we could have sat outside on the patio, but it was really windy so we opted for inside. It felt a bit dark and quiet for the middle of the day, but we still enjoyed lunch all the same. ”
“ Nice location, in the heart of midtown, and with a wonderful patio. Staff is super I've and attentive and very diligent. Food was good. Had the avocado Benedict's, and mimosas. ”
